Name: Cicero Septimus
Nickname(s): Cuddlebug, Flurfy
Born: 2019
Likes: Eating Titus’ food, lying on my back for cuddles, tearing up paper towel rolls
Dislikes: The word “no”

Cicero is a brown tabby but I swear he has a little bit of Maine Coon in him.  He’s got a big, bushy tail, facial tufts, and fur growing between the pads on the bottoms of his paws.  However, he’s not a large cat like a Maine Coon might be.  In fact, I would call him a bit small for a male cat.  He’s a very sweet boy who loves curling up in my lap while I work…but he does sometimes have a temper!  In rare moments, I will be petting him and he will suddenly nip my hand hard, as if to let me know that I’m overdoing it.  Then he will get mad at me for chastising him.  Cats, go figure.  Below, you can see that Cicero likes to squeeze into small objects.

Name: Titus
Nickname(s): Stinkbug, Crazy Man
Born: 2020
Likes: Knocking everything off the counter
Dislikes: When Cicero gets attention

I adopted Titus as a companion for Cicero.  I initially worried that I had made a mistake in adopting Titus, as during the first few weeks he seemed terrified of me.  But he was just a little slower at settling in and now he is constantly butting his head against mine and putting a paw against me to signal that he wants attention.  Titus is also my little pig.  The boy always wants food.  He’s a big tom cat anyway, but I have to watch his food intake.  My vet once told me that if a cat goes hungry for just one day, it then thinks it is forever at risk of starving and thus cats can become overeaters.  Titus has never figured out that the human with opposable thumbs is always going to be cracking open cans for him and he doesn’t need to worry.
